Car Chix’s very own, Presley Wilkerson, is entered in the 2017 ‘Search for a Champion‘ Contest presented by Champion Spark Plugs! Presley Wilkerson is an official member of Car Chix and has been featured as Ms.July in the 2016 and 2017 Car Chix Calendars.
Presley Wilkerson was born with racing running in her veins! The racing bug runs deep in Presley’s family — both of her Parents and her Uncle were heavily involved in the drag racing scene before Presley was born. As they say, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. By the age of six, Presley was already racing full sized ATV vehicles. By the time Presley was eleven, she began taking the mud truck racing world by storm — earning 11 points championships and hundreds of wins in a 7 years. WOW!
It was when Presley Wilkerson turned eighteen that she really took up the family passion for NHRA drag racing. She made it to the finals in her first racing competition with a Super Comp Dragster. Talk about racing in the blood! Today, Presley Wilkerson racing a 1982 Corvette that she competes in bracket racing series and the Super Gas/Super Street Class in NHRA Division III.
Not only does Presley Wilkerson have the experience to make her dreams of competing in higher levels of drag racing a reality, she also has the drive, passion and courage — and those are things that people can’t learn. You’re born with it.
