The Car Chix Annual Breast Cancer Fundraiser takes place during the World Series of Drag Racing at Cordova Dragway Park August 28th -29th.
Drag Racing for Life is a fundraiser presented by Car Chix to raise money for causes such as Breast Cancer. During the World Series, the Drag Racing for Life Breast Cancer Fundraiser will go to benefit the Genesis Center for Breast Health, Silvis Campus.
Car Chix and the Illini Center for Breast Health have been partners in raising awareness and money for Breast Cancer for several years. During this event, attendees can participate in fundraising activities such as:

The World Series of Drag Racing is one of the largest Drag Racing events in the Midwest. Some of the top drivers and legends in the country gather for this incredible event.

Q. Car Chix – Regrettably, I won’t be able to make the event. How can I still contribute to the cause?
A. Thank you for your support! There are a number of ways to get involved:
2. Donations can be made directly to the Breast Cancer Organization! Please make out all checks, money orders, cashier checks to: “Genesis Center for Breast Health Silvis Campus”. Please include “Car Chix Fundraiser” in the Memo. Donations for the Breast Cancer Organization can be mailed to the following address:

3. Sponsor Car Chix to help cover expenses of the fundraiser. The whole Car Chix crew works on a volunteer basis. Car Chix covers all hospitality and food costs for volunteers during the event. From set-up to tear down this is a 4 day event for us and we will have 8 – 10 volunteers throughout. Please contact Car Chix directly for more details at: info@carchix.com.

Q. Car Chix – What time is the Children’s Hula Hoop Contest?
A. We plan on having all contests and closing out all raffles an hour before the featured show starts.

Q. Car Chix – Will there be an official *CAR CHIX* Race during this event?
A. NO, Car Chix will not be having an official race. HOWEVER — there will be tons of racing during the event and there are classes that you can compete in! See the attached fliers for more information or visit Cordova International Raceway.
