The Annual Car Chix Ladies Only Drag Race at Byron Dragway —brought to you by Redhorse Performance and Other World Computing — was off the chains! Even with 115 degree weather with the heat index and thunderstorms on the way, Car Chix from near and far came out to run what they brung and show support for the women of motorsports and the Drag Racing for Life Breast Cancer Fundraiser.

Twenty-three women traveled from various parts of the Midwest to enter the Car Chix Ladies Only Drag Race! One woman drove all the way from Michigan to attend and participate in the Car Chix Pro Class. In addition to a successful turnout for the Car Chix Ladies Only Drag Race, the Car Chix were able to raise over $1,200+ for the All About Me Program at Rochelle Community Hospital.
