Meet Cheryl Hryn – Ms. October 2014

 
Car Chix welcomes Cheryl Hryn as an official member of Car Chix, the premier motorsports organization for women!  Cheryl Hryn is Ms. October in the 2014 Car Chix Calendar and was one of the top 12 finalists in the 2013 Women of Motorsports Contest on the Car Chix Facebook Page.  Cheryl is a female racer in the Street Stock Division from Posen, Illinois.
Cheryl Hryn spends her 9 to 5 as a property manager in the Posen, Illinois area.  When she’s off the clock and her hair is down, she is cutting lose at Grundy County Speedway with her 1988 Chevy Monte Carlo!  She is affiliated and supported by a number of reputable organizations, including: Republic Recovery, Speedy’s Motorsports, Rita Fields Racing, Last Minute Services, Make It Straight, Romito Race Engines, Cabin 7 Radio, BSA Mobile Home Repairs, Outlaw Graphics and North Gran Auto Parts.
In addition, Cheryl Hryn has a number of honorable achievements under her belt.  In 2008, Cheryl was named ‘Most Improved Driver’ in the 4 Cylinder Division.  She won ‘Most Improved Driver’ in the Street Stock Division in 2010.  In 2012 and 2013, Cheryl was even recognized as the ‘Most Popular Driver’ at Grundy County Speedway!
Cheryl credits her family for her passion and involvement in motorsports.   She is incredibly grateful for the fans and friends she has meet through motorsports. Cheryl was around racing since she was a little kid as her father introduced her to the racing lifestyle.  She ended up meeting her fiancee who was also a racer.  The two of them continued their racing passions together with a 4 cylinder and a 2nd Street Stock Car … and the rest is history.  You know what they say … a couple that races together, stays together!
