Natalie Hirschfield was racing her 1991 Chevy-powered LX Mustang in the 6.50 Index Class.  Round by round, Natalie’s final and final competitor was becoming more and more eminent.  Natalie Hirschfield earned her spot as #1 Qualifier and made it to the finals against none other than her Father-in-Law, Lee Hirschfield, whom was #2 Qualifier.  Now, this could make for a long drive home, right? Haha
The race between Natalie and Lee in the finals was close!  Watch the video below – they were nose to nose!  Ultimately, Lee left the tree with a .069 to Natalie’s .078 and Natalie broke out with a 6.48 to Lee’s 6.53! Lee Hirschfield took first place in the 6.50 Index Class and Natalie was runner up.  Natalie and Lee have been racing the same class for three years and this was the first time the two went head to head in the finals.

Natalie’s Husband, David was racing his gorgeous 1987 Coupe, better known as ‘Storm Trooper’ in the Nostalgia True Street Class.   After going rounds with the #2 Qualifier position, David took home the first place win in the Nostalgia True Street Class.

This was the first time all three of the Hirschfields’ went to the finals.  Memories that will last a life time for sure.  Congrats to Natalie, Lee & Dave!  We look forward to what 2017 holds for you all. Hirschfields’ TTF!
