Leena Gade is an engineer and a racer. She started working with Audi back in 2007 and has worked her way up in her job. Leena is currently a race engineer for the Audi Sport Team. Her racing resume is also one that is impressive. It is considered one of the most impressive in the field of professional sports car racing.
Leena won Audi’s championship along with most of its big races and the 24 Hours of Le Mans race. In 2011 Leena became the first female to win the around-the-clock race event. Since then, she has managed to win this event 3 more times making it a total of winning 4 times all together. Gade admits that it hasn’t been easy and that most of the difficulty is people commenting or judging her based on her gender. Leena has proved all of the critics wrong though and now gets to do what she loves: work on cars and race them.
