Willow Barberstock is a 15 year old racing success. To gain experience Willow raced go-karts before she could move up. Her first race was with an entry-level 4 cylinder stock car at Canada’s Toughest 3rd of a Mile Paved Oval. Ever since she started racing, Willow and her grandfather have been working together. Randy Hollingsworth runs with the Ontario Modifieds Racing Series.
At 14 years of age, Willow became the youngest female champion in the history of Peterborough Speedway. Before that, Willow had won the track title in the 4Fun division before she was able to race more than go-karts. Willow is now considered a full-time competitor. She races a #62W Ontario Modifieds Racing Series machine. After winning Rookie of the Year, she is set to race again on Saturday, July 4th.
