Vicki Golden is a female who broke the gender barriers in dirt bike racing. She has many different awards and has been the first female to do many things. In 2011, Vicki became the first female to qualify for an AMSOIL Arenacross Lites Class Main Event. She is also the first female to compete in a Moto X freestyle competition. The Moto X freestyle competitions are all about what tricks you can accomplish on your bike. Vicki was also 1 out of 5 women to earn 3 consecutive gold medals at a summer event.
Back 2 years ago in 2013, Vicki became the first female to join the Metal Mulisha. The next year in 2014 Vicki completed the Ricky Carmichael’s Road to Supercross in AMSOIL Arenacross. This earned her her 250SX Class license which brought her a step closer to qualifying for a Monster Energy Supercross race. Vicki recently became the first and only female in over 40 years to qualify for the “Fast 40” class in Monster Energy AMA Supercross racing. Vicki later then failed to make the main event. Over the years she has gathered tons of sponsors, a few being: HRT Racing, Just 1 Helmets, Dunlop.
