Ultra Street competitor Kyla Hubbard qualified in the #10 position with a 4.608 at 152.37 and felt confident rolling into eliminations Saturday night.

Kyla in her 1985 Monte Carlo went on to win the first round of eliminations against Martin Connelley, running 4.635 at 151.94. Kyla, who is tuned by her father, X275 racer Kenny Hubbard, was paired up with the eventual winner of the event, Kieffer Simpson.

Kyla is making consistent, fast laps in her Monte Carlo and is going to be a problem in the upcoming races, where she looks to gain points in Donald Long’s Radial Outlaws series. “We went to FuelTech and dynoed it and saw numbers we liked,” stated Hubbard. The team will head to Alabama International Dragway April 21-23 for stop #3 of the Radial Outlaws Tour.
