“My dad has been involved in motorsports since he was young. He started taking me to the track as a baby and always included me when working on or racing the cars.  He started building his ’85 Chevy Camaro the year I was born so I was always out in the garage helping him, bringing him tools or whatever he needed,” Jackie explained, “I started in junior dragsters when I was 8 years old and I’ve been racing ever since.”
Jackie Braasch comes from a family of hard-core drag racers.  There is not a weekend that goes by that Jackie and her family are not at the track, working on the race cars or doing something that involves the high adrenaline rush of motorsports.  For Jackie, nothing beats working on cars, spending time with the racing family and friends and the rush of racing and the motivation to win.
Jackie supports Car Chix and an encourages all women, young and old, to follow there dreams and pursue their passions.  “Definitely get involved! Don’t get discouraged if people doubt you,” Jackie says,”just prove them wrong.”
