PERSONAL WEBSITE/FANPAGE: fb.me/fatheranddaughterracing

CLUBS/AFFLIATIONS/SPONSORS: Duane Mason with A-1 Rentals in Beaumont, Texas is one of my biggest sponsors and fan. Some more of my sponsors include Earl Baxter with 41 Shocks, Dan Finn Performance Specialists, Gentry Transmissions, Seals Transmissions, Deana and Dan Konecny, Bruce’s Locksmith, David Wyble with Classic Glass, Pat Foreman Racing Heads, Trackside Motorsports, and Doss Dillard with Sour Lake Truckville.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS/ACHIEVEMENTS: I am the 2018 Rookie Limited Points Champion at Golden Triangle Raceway Park. In 2016, I won 3rd place Points Champion at Battleground Speedway in the factory stock class. In 2015, I was the 2nd place Points Champion at Battleground Speedway and 3rd place Points Champion at Golden Triangle Raceway Park in the Jr Mini class. In 2013, I was the Points Champion at Battleground Speedway in the Jr Mini class.

SEASON HIGHLIGHTS: On August 4th at Golden Triangle Raceway Park I broke my brake caliber in my heat race so I didn’t finish. We got it fixed for the feature race and I started 10th place. The track was super dry slick so I passed the guys one by one and came all the way up to the front to take the win. That was my first feature win in my limited modified.

FAVORITE QUOTE/SAYING: I ain’t got time for that because I don’t have time to mess around waiting on some of the guys I race against.

HOW DID YOU GET INVOLVED WITH AUTOMOBILES/MOTORSPORTS: My dad has raced for over 29 years and before I was born my mom raced. Also, both of my grandpas raced.

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN INVOLVED WITH AUTOMOBILES/MOTORSPORTS: I’ve been racing for 6 years but I’ve been going to the track since I was 1 month old.

WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT AUTOMOBILES/MOTORSPORTS: I love how it can be very competitive and I really enjoy how fun it is to run side by side with guys around the track. Dirt track racing has also brought many great friends that have become part of my racing family.

WHAT IS YOUR BEST CAR/RACING/MOTORSPORTS RELATED MEMORY: On June 16th of this year, me and my dad started side by side on the front row for our feature race. Me and him ran side by side for 15 laps and on the last lap I was able to get ahead of him and take my first win in my factory stock.

WHAT IS YOUR WORST CAR/RACING/MOTORSPORTS RELATED MEMORY: On September 8th of this year, I started 2nd in my feature race and my dad started right behind me. I ran 2nd for 14 laps while my dad kept bumping me trying to shake me up and get in my head. I did not let him phase me, but because he has a lot more experience than me, he was able to get up beside me on the last lap and he beat me by 1 foot. He told me that it was a learning experience and that he was teaching me to be a better driver, which is true but he still could’ve let me have it haha.

WHAT ARE YOUR GOALS FOR NEXT SEASON: My goal for next season is to try to take the championship away from my dad. I hope to be able to beat him more often.

WHAT ARE THE BIGGEST CHALLENGES FOR REACHING YOUR GOALS: The biggest challenge for me is being able to explore different tracks to get more experience on different racing surfaces.

ANY BIG MODS OR BUILDS GOING ON DURING THE OFF SEASON: I might be putting a new body on my limited this off season.

DO YOU HAVE ANY OTHER HOBBIES OR PASSIONS: Nope, I have 2 racecars that take up all of my time.

WHAT ARE YOUR TOP SONGS FOR WHEN YOU ARE DOING CARS THINGS / RACING: Dirt Track Thing by a local artist/racer Kenny Montgomery and Left Turn by Cody Hicks.

IF YOU GOT A MILLION DOLLARS TOMORROW, WHAT WOULD YOU DO WITH IT? If I got a million dollars tomorrow, I would buy a racetrack and a double stacker to haul both of my cars.

ADVICE TO OTHER WOMEN IN MOTORSPORTS OR WOMEN INTERESTED IN GETTING INVOLVED IN MOTORSPORTS: Don’t ever think because you are a female that you won’t be able to drive as good as the males. I’ve proved that that’s not true and so have others.

ANYTHING ELSE YOU WOULD LIKE TO SHARE WITH THE CAR CHIX COMMUNITY: I think that this is an awesome community that helps gets the word out about the females that are involved in this sport.
