Car Chix proudly announces the debut of ‘The Women in Race & Performance’!  The event will take place at the 11th Annual Race and Performance Expo on Saturday, February 24th at the Renaissance Convention Center in Schaumburg, Illinois.
Headlining the event will be NHRA A/Fuel Dragster Team owner and driver, Marina Anderson; Heather Dorethy from Precision Turbo & Engine and SLM Driver of the ARCA Racing Series, Natalie Decker!  The dynamic trio will share their experiences in the race and performance industry, careers, challenges, inspirations and much more during this fun filled hour at ‘The Women of Race & Performance’ Seminar.
Moderating the event is Jeanette DesJardins, the President and Founder of Car Chix, the premier motorsports organization for women.
NHRA A/Fuel Dragster team owner and driver, Marina Anderson built her own 5-second dragster that is capable of speeds of 240+ mph from scratch.  In 2017, Marina not only become officially licensed, she made her professional NHRA debut.
Heather Dorethy has racing on the brain on and off the track.  Not only is Heather a technical sales representative for one of the most sought after performance brands in the country, Precision Turbo and Engine,  she also competes competitively in drag racing.
With her eyes set on NASCAR, Natalie Decker is a SLM Driver racing full time on the national level with the ARCA Series.
The Women in Race & Performance Seminar will be held upstairs from the expo in the EUPHORIA Room at 9AM CST!  This event is FREE to all Race & Performance Expo attendees.  Seating is available on first come, first serve basis.
