Representatives of Car Chix will be participating in the BlackLight 5K Run set to take place at Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet, Illinois on May 2nd. The BlackLight 5k Run is a country wide event that travels from city to city and raises money for local charities. It is a 5k for people of all ages, sizes and shapes — regardless if you are an avid runner or never ran a day in your life. The Blacklight 5K run that the Car Chix will be participating in goes to benefit the Little Giraffe Foundation.
The Car Chix will be represented at the 5K BlackLight Run by Jeanette DesJardins, Car Chix President & Founder; and Car Chix Women of Motorsports Winners and Calendar features: Erin Braasch, Ms. February 2015; Jackie Braasch, Ms. May 2015; Donielle Murphy, Ms. June 2015; Carissa Casimer, Ms. August 2015; as well as Car Chix Supporters and Racers, Tracey Szymanski, Tina Bucaro, Marina Anderson and Brittany Nicole.
