Corry Weller, pictured above, is the only female racer in the Pro 4 class in the Lucas Oil Road Racing Series.  This past weekend, Corry Weller competed at the Lucas Oil Off Road Track in Las Vegas and took the podium!  She placed third, right behind two of the champion drivers.
“I wanted it.  It was right there in my hands, and I wanted it so badly for my team, for my sponsors, and for myself.  I am a very competitive person, and I think people are starting to see that more and more, as we get this truck dialed in and I get more experience in this class,” stated Corry in an interview following the race.
This was Corry’s first podium finish of the 2013 season and her 3rd podium finish since joining the Pro 4 class last year.  She reportedly was in first place in the beginning of the race until she got a flat tire.  Not knowing, she kept the pedal to the floor until she began loosing traction.  After a quick pit stop, she jumped back into the race and finished in third.
Great start to the season for Corry Weller and crew!
