With a recent national event win at the U.S. Nationals added to her two other National wins this season, NGK Spark Plugs Top Alcohol Dragster racer Megan Meyer is currently in second place in NHRA’s National standings, after clinching her third-straight NHRA Lucas Oil Central Region Championship.  Megan is looking forward to finishing up her 2019 year with the National Championship under the Randy Meyer Racing Team name as well. Joining her team at the Reading, Pennsylvania race this weekend will be sponsor Jiffy Tite Motorsports. Jiffy-Tite has partnered with the Randy Meyer Racing Team in the past providing quick-connecting fluid fittings to improve efficiency during motor maintenance between elimination rounds.
Jiffy-Tite Group became part of the Oetiker New York Group in 2016, and is a leading manufacturer of quick connectors for fluid transfer applications that include transmission oil cooling, engine oil cooling and turbocharger oil cooling and supply lines in the OEM, Aftermarket and Motorsports sectors.

“Oetiker is proud to support the Randy Meyer Racing team with the Jiffy-Tite quick connect and disconnect product line,” said  Ryan Zillig, Marketing Manager at Oetiker New York. “By using Jiffy-Tite Motorsports valved connections, Randy Meyer Racing can quickly cool, swap, fill, drain and service their fluid applications, saving time when it matters most. Having the opportunity to promote our Jiffy-Tite products on a winning race team like Randy Meyer Racing not only helps us reach a larger audience, but also provides us with valuable feedback on cutting edge technology and trends.”

“We have been on a hot streak all year, with our team going to the final round at almost every race we’ve entered, and we won’t let it stop now,” said Megan. “I’m still on cloud 9 after winning the biggest NHRA race in Indy, but I have to get focused on this weekend’s race and do my best to get another win so we can be that much closer to winning the Championship. There is a lot of tough competition this weekend, but I’m confident that my NGK dragster will run fast and smooth in the lower altitude.”

Megan and her team will begin competition at the Mopar Express Lane NHRA Nationals on Friday with qualifying sessions at 12:00 & 4:00pm, followed by a third session at 11:00am Saturday.  Eliminations begin Saturday at 4:45pm. Fox Sports 2 coverage of the Top Alcohol categories will air on Thursday, September 26 at 8pm ET. Follow the team throughout the weekend at www.facebook.com/randymeyerracing and on Instagram.
