She completed licensing at the Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series North Central Regional race at Route 66 Raceway in June of 2017.
This is the latest step in a journey that Anderson began over seven years ago.

“This race has been many years in the making.” said Anderson. ” Besides making a good showing at the track, I want to inspire others who feel like doing something they are passionate about is only a dream, because that’s how I felt as a kid.”

When asked about the debuting at National event and the formidable level of competition that they bring, Marina’s answer was to the point, ” The entry list is definitely intimidating, but I’m up for the challenge. I am going to go run my own race and see what we can do.”
No one in this sport can go it alone. Anderson is no exception.

“I am so thankful for the many supporters and friends that have helped us to be able to get to our first race.”

Those supporters include her parents, Scott and Doreen Anderson, Competition Fabrications, Zach Ingram of Zrodz & Customs, Champion Auto Parts, Premium Motorsports Products and Midnight Moon Alpaca Ranch. On track support for the  Anderson Family Dragster team consists of members of the Frantic Fueler Nostalgia Top Fuel Dragster.
