Meet Staci Segura – Ms. August 2016

Car Chix welcomes Staci Segura as an Official Car Chix Member.  Staci Segura placed in the top 12 of the Car Chix Annual Women of Motorsports Contest (Read: Car Chix Women of Motorsports Contest Breaks the Internet); earning her spot as Ms. August of the Dyno Dom’s Sikeston Raceway sponsored month in the 2016 Car Chix Calendar!
Staci Segura is a 3rd generation racer from Sikeston, Missouri.  Mopars and her 1969 Barracuda are her vehicles of choice. She was raised around racing and Mopars her entire life; hence why her motto is ‘Mopar or No Car’.   You can find her and her family drag racing at their local drag strip, Jeffers Motorsports Park, formerly known as Dyno Dom’s Sikeston Raceway.

“Once you put on that helmet and cross the finish line, it is no long male vs female, it is competitor vs competitor,” says Staci Segura.  What Staci loves the most about drag racing is the history of the sport and it’s competitive nature.  When Staci is not racing, you can find her working as a service adviser at a Dodge, Chrysler and Jeep dealership, as well as, announcing some local racing events!
Staci Segura is planning on attending this week’s Ladies Only Drag Race during the World Series of Drag Racing at Memphis International Raceway.  We wish her and her family best of luck for the remaining race season!
