Quality Structures, Inc, QSI, a leader in the construction of high quality buildings in the Midwest, will be the associate sponsor of the two Top Alcohol Dragsters in the Randy Meyer Racing Team for this weekend’s Central Regional race in the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series at Topeka.
QSI built the Randy Meyer Racing shop located in Spring Hill, Kansas for the team in 2016. It is over 9,600 square feet and is used as a race shop, showroom, and storage for the many racing vehicles, trailers, parts and supplies used by the team. The building received the 2016 National Frame Builders Association Building Of The Year Award for it’s open interior, 28’ leans, and raised center aisle that is completely lined in white steel.
“The Randy Meyer Racing Shop building exemplifies the size and quality of the racing organization and I am proud to have helped with the project,” said Steve Morrison, QSI Sales Representative for Eastern Kansas. “The building is unique because of the size 85’x120’x20′ and the fact that it is both post frame shop with a stick framed office and showroom area.”
“My favorite part of the race weekend experience is the time spent in the pit areas watching teams work together as families to make it all happen on the track.”
Driving for the Randy Meyer Racing Team this weekend will be championship-contender, Megan Meyer, and her little sister, Rachel Meyer. Megan has competed in eight NHRA races this year and holds three wins, while this will be Rachel’s second race for her in 2017.
