Shea Racing is kicking off the 2014 racing season with a new look and a new ride! The Shea Racing Team was spotted at Sebring International Raceway last week with a highly sponsor decorated Pro Mazda. With the 25th Anniversary of the prestigious Pirelli World Challenge around the corner, what could the Shea Racing Team possibly be up to?
“This new venture is incredibly exciting for us. We have the ability to run the car in the Pro Mazda Championship in the near future. Today, we’re focusing on delivering a platform for drivers looking for testing opportunities in a professional environment with one-on-one driver development,” stated Shea Holbrook of Shea Racing.
2014 will mark the 5th year that Shea Racing has competed in the Pirelli World Challenge. The team is expected to compete with multiple cars this year. Just a few short months ago, Shea Holbrook, owner and driver of Shea Racing, was 1 of 8 women recognized by the Women’s Sports Foundation and received the Women’s Sports Foundation’s Women in the Winners Circle Project Podium Grant at the 2013 PRI Show in Indy.
