Car Chix 2013 Women of Motorsports Contest went off with a bang this year! The premier motorsports organization for women holds the Women of Motorsports Contest every year to recognize and inspire women in motorsports and the automotive industry around the global. This year, the contest brought in over 200 entries!
“The Women of Motorsports Contest is a celebration of the women in motorsports, their struggles, their victories and it is meant to be inspiring to those that are upcoming in the industry, ” stated Jeanette DesJardins, President of Car Chix, Inc.

For about 2 weeks, women for all over the world were able to submit up to 3 family friendly photos of themselves with a vehicle of choice. The photos were then voted on by fans of the Car Chix Facebook Page. The woman with the most likes on a single photo won and the top 12 received exclusive invites to be featured in the 2014 Car Chix Calendar.
The winner of the 2013 Car Chix Women of Motorsports Contest was Donielle Murphy-Long with 1, 037 votes! That is the most votes a single entry has ever received in the 3 years Car Chix has been running this contest! It is also the 2nd time a woman motorcycle enthusiast has ever won. By the end of the contest, the Car Chix Fanpage was reaching nearly 300,00 people on Facebook!

Car Chix is currently designing their 2014 Car Chix Calendars. They plan on having their calendars available for purchase in their online store by Thanksgiving. The calendar will feature the top 12 winners of the 2013 Women of Motorsports Contest.
