Danica Patrick has recently been refused by the American Haas team. Haas is making a team for their Formula 1 season next year in 2016. Haas has a reason for declining Danica and states that he feels she would not be able to meet the qualifying criteria that it takes to earn an F1 driver’s ‘super license’. 33 year old Danica has been racing NASCAR stock cars and even has won a Indy Car race. Although she has a good racing history, she was still declined.
Recently Danica participated in a race for the Haas team. On June 14th, 2015, Danica Patrick and other members of the Haas team participated in a race together. The race event was a Michigan 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. Crew chief, Daniel Knost made some pit calls and talked with Danica on how to improve her car during the breaks that they held. The breaks were held due to the rain and debris. Danica was scored in 16th place before a call was made to stop the race due to debris on the track. After the clean up, the race was called off due to weather conditions.
