Johanna Long has hopes of getting back to NASCAR. Due to complications with her updating her car, she was not able to meet NASCAR requirements this year. She is hopeful to return back next season. Johanna has raced stock cars since she was 13 years old. Her father used to race, too. He took her go-karting one day and she has never stopped racing since.
Johanna also has achieved many things within her many years of racing. In 2010 she was named the Snowball Derby Winner. In 2012 Johanna was the youngest female to ever compete in a NSACAR Nationwide Series. Although she recently did not qualify for NASCAR, she continues to race. She recently raced in the 100-lap Allen Turner Hyundai Pro Late Model Season-Opening race. Johanna also occasionally returns back to her home track where it all began at Five Flags.
