The Genesis Silvis Center for Breast Health was the benefactor at the Annual Car Chix Drag Racing for Life Breast Cancer Fundraiser that took place during the World Series of Drag Racing at Cordova Dragway Park (Read: Car Chix Nearly Triples Funds Raised During Drag Racing for Life Breast Cancer Fundraiser). To show their appreciation, the Genesis Silvia Center for Breast Health had one of the top silent auction items framed with a plaque to honor the Car Chix Team for their generosity and efforts!

Car Chix has been holding the Drag Racing for Life Breast Cancer Fundraiser (formerly: Racing for a Cure a Quarter Mile at a Time) since 2010. In addition to breast cancer, the Drag Racing for Life Fundraiser has raised money for other causes such as Multiple Sclerosis and the 4H Foundation. The Genesis Silvis Center for Breast Health and Car Chix will be teamed up once again this year during the annual Drag Racing for Life Breast Cancer Fundraiser set to take place in August at Cordova International Raceway.
