Erica Enders continues to make history and shatter records! The two-time NHRA Pro Stock Champion was just awarded the 2016 Autoweek Driver Award!
“To actually top what we did in 2014 in what started out as a very challenging year for us with the new tire and fuel they made us use, it’s really satisfying and says so much about this Elite Motorsports team,” Erica Enders stated in an interview with Autoweek, “The 20-plus years it took to get to this point, all the heartache and struggle, it was all worth it to feel like this again.”
As of now, Erica Enders has officially passed NHRA Legened, Shirley Muldowney, for ‘Most Careers Wins by a Woman’. With a jaw dropping 58-14 race record during 24 NHRA National Events with 9 of her wins being in 2015 alone, Erica Enders continues to shine and lead the way in all major categories of NHRA Professional Drag Racing.
Not to mention, Erica’s uninterrupted positive attitude and down to earth overall demeanor continues to be an inspiration to racers of all levels and a great role model to men and women of all ages. As she switches it up to Mopar in 2016, we look forward to seeing what Erica Enders brings this season! Can we make 3 for 3 consecutive Pro Stock Wins?! Let’s get it!
