Michela Cerruti is all set to rock the 2013 FIA Formula 3 European Championship in the upcoming weeks! She will racing one of the Dallara-Mercedes F3/312 cars with the Romeo Ferraris team. Michela Cerruti is only the second female to ever race in the Formula 3 European Championship!
“I like to think that I will be competing in a highly competitive championship, full of really fast drivers. There’s nothing I like better than a challenge that seems impossible. My whole career so far has been a series of leaps in the dark, and every year has brought a new and more difficult challenge, and I fully expect this to be the most demanding,” stated Michela Cerruti in a recent interview.
This is not Michela’s first time behind the wheel. Michela has a pretty impressive resume in the world of racing at the young age of 26. When she was 20 years old, she competed in the Superstars Touring Car Series. Michela also participated in the German ATS Formula 3 Cup and the F3 Open Series.
Not only is Michela Cerruti committed to competing in the FIA Formula 3 European Championship series; she will continue racing for the Z4 GT3 for the Robert Ravaglia-run.
