Female Racing

Female racing drivers may soon have their own reality series according to recent reports from the Green Bay Press.
Rumor has it that videographer, George Houde (pictured above), was at the Saturday night racing program at Prestige Yacht Coating Thunderhill Raceway shooting footage with some of the regular ladies at the dirt track in Sturgeon Bay at the Door County Fairgrounds.
The female racing project is said to be focused on the struggles and challenges of small town female racers as they compete in the male dominated sport.
“It was sort of a scouting mission to get the lay of the land, who the characters are and who the characters could be.  If you’ve got good characters, you can do anything,” stated George Houde in a recent interview.
Reports suggest that George Houde may be planning on pitching the female racing series idea to the Discovery, History and Spike TV Networks.
What do you think about an all Female Racing Reality Series? Could this help promote female racers in a positive light?
