Melissa Paris will join the Stratos Racing Team to compete in the Spanish Road Racing CEV Championship, which as of 2014 is ran under the direction of FIM. The Spanish CEV Championship consists of 7 weekend events. Melissa began testing for the event with the FIM Women’s Roadrace Training Camp late last year.
“I am so excited for this new adventure. Racing in the Spanish Championship will be a great opportunity to raise my level. I feel very blessed to be riding for a team with a history of so much success. Thank you so much to Stratos and also to the Women’s Sports Foundation for making this happen. I’m also very grateful for Joe Rocket and all of my personal sponsors who continue to support me,” stated Melissa Paris.
Melissa Paris is an American female racer from California that made her pro debut with AMA in 2009. She was the first woman to qualify and race in a World Supersport event in 2009. Melissa also finished in the top ten at the Daytona 200 in 2013.
