Female racer, Katie Evans, could become Britain’s youngest Formula One race car driver. She is a 15 year old young lady with that shows strong passion and determination to accomplish her Formula One driving dream.
Katie Evans began racing about 5 years ago after her Father got her into go-kart racing. She is known to race every weekend at the Tattershall Karting Centre in Lincolnshire. Her go-kart can reach speeds of 80 MPH! That is pretty quick in those little karts!
“My ultimate ambition is to get into Formula One. That’s a very long way off at the moment but its something I want to aim towards,” stated Katie Evans in a recent interview.
In 2013, Katie achieved many titles and accomplishments while racing. Including: Finishing 3rd in the Woodthorpe Kart Club, Junior Driver Award and Most Improved Driver.
