Dominique Van Wieringen is the 2012 Super Late Model Champion at Springport Speedway in Springport, Michigan. At the young age of 17, this young lady has more experience in motorsports than most adults I know. With her drive and determination, it is without a doubt that she is on her way to making her NASCAR dreams a reality.
Dominique Van Wieringen is not new to the motorsports world by any means. She began racing motorcycles at the age of 5 which ultimately lead her into the go kart scene. In a recent interview with Ask Patty, Dominique stated, “After my family and I got out of motocross racing, our neighbor introduced us to go-karting (the step before cars) and I loved from the beginning, then we set on car racing since.”
Not only is Dominique setting high standards in racing, but she is also active in her community. Dominique is all about giving back to the community and has raised significant amounts of money for the American Cancer Society.
