The Car Chix Annual Breast Cancer Fundraiser takes place during the World Series of Drag Racing at Cordova Dragway Park August 22nd – 23rd. Drag Racing for Life is a fundraiser presented by Car Chix to raise money for causes such as Breast Cancer. During the World Series, the Drag Racing for Life Breast Cancer Fundraiser will go to benefit the Illini Center for Breast Health at Genesis Hospitial.
Car Chix and the Illini Center for Breast Health have been partners in raising awareness and money for Breast Cancer for several years. During this event, attendees can participate in fundraising activities such as: Ticket raffles, 50/50 Raffles, Silent Auctions, as well as, obtain knowledge in regards to breast cancer prevention methods and treatment options. In addition, Car Chix will have their full line of racewear and specialty event items for sale.
The World Series of Drag Racing is one of the largest Drag Racing events in the Midwest. Some of the top drivers and legends in the country gather for this incredible event. Some of the features include:
