NHRA Pro Stock Race Car Driver, Erica Enders-Stevens took home a first place win this past weekend during the Ford NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals at Bristol Dragway in Bristol, Tennessee.  Erica’s win marks the first time in history that a female racer won the NHRA Pro Stock Class at Bristol Dragway!  This is Erica Enders-Stevens 3rd win of the season and  the 9th win of her professional career.  Her win also marks 101 pro wins for the women of NHRA Drag Racing.
“We got 99 and 101.  I’ll take any, I don’t care what number it is,” stated Erica Enders-Stevens in a post race interview, “Bristol has always been good to me, I really enjoy coming here.”
Erica Enders-Stevens win did not come easy as she was paired two championship Pro Stock Drivers in her last two rounds. She took our Larry Morgan in the first round and then skated by both Greg Anderson and Jeg Coughlin Jr. who both fell victim to red light starts.  It was Erica Enders-Stevens and Jonathan Gray in the finals.  Jonathan Gray appeared to have issues leaving the starting line at the drop of the tree and Erica raced to victory with a 6.698-second pass at 207.15 mph.
