Car Chix proudly welcomes Danielle Dobczyk as an official member of Car Chix! Danielle placed in the top 12 out of nearly 400 entries in the 2014 Women of Motorsports Contest, earning her spot as Ms. September in the 2015 Car Chix Calendar.
Danielle Dobczyk is a Life Guard from Minooka, Illinois. When she is not out protecting the waters, she is tearin’ it up in the 4-cylinder Pure Stock Class with Dobczyk Racing at her home track, Grundy County Speedway! Danielle drives a 1996 Saturn SC2!
During Danielle’s rookie season, she placed 3rd in points out of 48! She also had 2 heat wins and multiple top 3 finishes! Get it girl! During her season last year, Danielle earned a heat and feature win in the same night, multiple top 3 finishes AND was nominated ‘Most Popular Driver’ for the last 2 years!
Danielle has been around racing since she could walk. Her Father was racing when she was really young. Danielle and her family would go to the Grundy County Speedway to help and watch her cousin race in the 4-cylinder class and that is when it all happened…. Danielle got bit by the racing bug! She was out racing alongside her Cousin the following season!
“I love the rush that comes with racing. There is no greater view than a checkered flag waving ahead of you with all the cars on the track in your rearview mirror. I also love that it brings my family and friends together on every Friday night at the speedway,” Danielle explained,”I especially enjoy spending time with my father, who is my crew chief.”
Danielle is a rising star and a great role model for women in motorsports. We look forward to seeing the great strides she makes and following up with her for her season updates!
