Meet Donielle Murphy – Ms. June of 2014

Car Chix announces Donielle ‘DoniBoost’ Murphy as featured member of Car Chix!  Donielle was the winner of the 2013 Car Chix Annual Women of Motorsports Contest!  She is also Ms. June is the Car Chix 2014 Calendar (orders yours by clicking here)!
Donielle is a Licensed Cosmetologist / Hairdresser in the Chicago metropolitan area.  She is originally from Pasadena, California.  When she isn’t out tearing up the streets, you can find her at her home track Great Lakes Dragway, located in Union Grove, Wisconsin.
Years ago, Donielle began riding as a passenger on some Sports Bikes and that is when her love for speed began.  Tragically, Donielle was involved in an accident, but she did not let that stop her love for motorsports and the thirst for the adrenaline rush that comes with riding.  “Ever since that incident, I lost any feeling of control and decided I needed my own! I was brought to the track by friends and was immediately hooked,” explained Donielle Murphy.
Donielle encourages all women to get involved with motorsports and pursue their passions.  “Surround yourself with good people that you can enjoy the experience with and will have your back. But most importantly, always stand up for yourself and what you love, ” stated Donielle.
