SEASON HIGHLIGHTS: We struggled the last 2 years with the new set up and trying to get the car to launch, we finally were able to accomplish that at the tail end of our season. Being able to finally get that monkey off of our back and start to refine my skills as a driver.

FAVORITE QUOTE/SAYING: THE WINNER AIN’T THE ONE WITH THE

FASTEST CAR, IT’S THE ONE THAT REFUSES

TO LOSE.”- Dale Earnhardt

HOW DID YOU GET INVOLVED WITH AUTOMOBILES/MOTORSPORTS: I am a 3rd Generation racer – My grandfather is an NHRA Winternationals Super Stock and UDRA Points Champion winner, my father has raced Pro Stock for the last 30 years. My Dad is the owner of Jim’s Car Shop which is a premier High Performance Engine Building shop along with inventing the world renowned 9co Track Sprayer found at majority of race tracks.

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN INVOLVED WITH AUTOMOBILES/MOTORSPORTS: My whole life due to my father & grandfather but I have only been racing for the last 3 years.

WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT AUTOMOBILES/MOTORSPORTS: I love feeling accomplished. I love the sense of feeling accomplished and feeling like we’re doing something right and together. I love the sense of family. Not only being with my own family but everyone in the racing community can truly make a family too. I love being with my friends and introducing them into the world of motorsports.

WHAT IS YOUR BEST CAR/RACING/MOTORSPORTS RELATED MEMORY: My favorite racing related memory would be skipping my senior year homecoming to go racing with my dad in St. Louis and have a chance to meet a lot of pro’s!

WHAT IS YOUR WORST CAR/RACING/MOTORSPORTS RELATED MEMORY: The only bad memories I would ever have would be if a race got rained out!

WHAT ARE YOUR GOALS FOR NEXT SEASON: Our goals for next season are to keep working the tune in the car and perfect our launching issues. I would like to attend as many bracket races at GLD and Mopar themed events around the country as possible. I would mostly like to keep refining my skills and work on finding the true potential of the motor & car.

WHAT ARE THE BIGGEST CHALLENGES FOR REACHING YOUR GOALS: We are currently renovating our trailer which means we are at the mercy of our friends and family to let us borrow a trailer until that is accomplished so trying to finish that build along with working with friends and families on using a trailer.

ANY BIG MODS OR BUILDS GOING ON DURING THE OFF SEASON: Completing our 48ft trailer renovation is the biggest off season task. The car is stored and motor is in great shape.

DO YOU HAVE ANY OTHER HOBBIES OR PASSIONS: I love to hang out with my pets and friends. I have 3 dogs and a cat I love to be at home with when I can. I am also in 2 weddings along with planning my own so being able to be present for that.

WHAT ARE YOUR TOP SONGS FOR WHEN YOU ARE DOING CARS THINGS / RACING: I love 70’s music so one that I like to pump me of is the Edge of Seventeen by Stevie Nicks. My Dad and I really like 80’s rock so usually we are pumping that up.

IF YOU GOT A MILLION DOLLARS TOMORROW, WHAT WOULD YOU DO WITH IT? First and foremost – I would help everyone and anyone who has gotten me to this point in life. Anything left over, I would love to complete my dad, brother and fiance’s passion projects. AKA unbuilt cars laying around the shop!

WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR FAVORITE BLOGS, WEBSITES OR SOCIAL MEDIA PAGES THAT YOU FOLLOW? I follow Diana Parise and she has been an AMAZING support throughout all of my racing endeavours.  I also follow Megan Meyer for social media tips and because she has been so successful in her career & I am currently in college for Social Media Management & Marketing.

ADVICE TO OTHER WOMEN IN MOTORSPORTS OR WOMEN INTERESTED IN GETTING INVOLVED IN MOTORSPORTS: Just do it. Someone will always do something or say something to stop you and it’s going to be because they are jealous or afraid to lose to you. Just do it!

ANYTHING ELSE YOU WOULD LIKE TO SHARE WITH THE CAR CHIX COMMUNITY: I just wanna say thank you to Car Chix for giving us car chix a platform for exposure and a sense of community with one another
