ACCOMPLISHMENTS/ACHIEVEMENTS: I spent the entire 2018 racing season licensing in my
funny car. I have been racing since I was 8 but going from a bracket door car to a funny car was
no easy feat. All the years I spent by my grandpa’s side watching him drive a funny car and
learning everything I could about these machines, really helped me get in and get it done! It all
just came natural to me. The very last run I made of the 2018 season was the final pass I
needed to get licensed. Car ran great and I laid down a solid 194 mph pass! With all of my
racing family and friends gathered around, I hopped out of the car on cloud 9, adrenaline still
pumping, and I turned around to see my now fiance Josh on one knee! It couldn’t have been
more perfect.

SEASON HIGHLIGHTS: 2019 season, my rookie year, I spent traveling to drag strips around
the northwest with an awesome group of funny car teams, putting on a show for the fans. I
landed #16 in points and could not be more proud of my team and the car they gave me.

FAVORITE QUOTE/SAYING: I live my life a quarter mile at a time.

HOW DID YOU GET INVOLVED WITH AUTOMOBILES/MOTORSPORTS: My Grandpa Dale. I
have to give him all the credit. He is my best friend and the reason I am so in love with a gas
pedal. I was raised at the race track, watching him drive a funny car, dreaming that that would
be me one day. He got me into a jr. dragster at 8 years old and from there my need for speed
never stopped!

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN INVOLVED WITH AUTOMOBILES/MOTORSPORTS: My entire
life

WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT AUTOMOBILES/MOTORSPORTS: Everything. From the sound,
to the smell, to the burnouts, to tearing the motor apart & rebuilding it.

WHAT IS YOUR BEST CAR/RACING/MOTORSPORTS RELATED MEMORY: Licensing in a
funny car FOR SURE. Checked that off my bucket list!

WHAT IS YOUR WORST CAR/RACING/MOTORSPORTS RELATED MEMORY: When I was 9
years old we were driving home from a race that I had won in my jr. dragster. My grandpa
received a devastating phone call that my dad had just passed away from his year long battle
with Melanoma. I will never forget getting that news. The trophy I received from that race I
placed in the casket with my dad.

WHAT ARE YOUR GOALS FOR NEXT SEASON: My goal is first and foremost to go out there
and have the best time making memories with my racing family. My ultimate goal is to get a WIN
in the funny car! I’ve won in the other cars I’ve raced but have yet to pull off a funny car win!

WHAT ARE THE BIGGEST CHALLENGES FOR REACHING YOUR GOALS: I’m still learning
the car. It is new to our team so we are still working out all the kinks. With every pass I learn
something new!

ANY BIG MODS OR BUILDS GOING ON DURING THE OFF SEASON: Nothing major engine
wise but she is getting a new paint job!

WHAT ARE YOUR TOP SONGS FOR WHEN YOU ARE DOING CARS THINGS / RACING: I
love to listen to oldies like Creedence Clearwater Revival. It is the type of music I grew up
listening to with my grandpa! Anytime I hear that music, all of those memories with him at the
race track and in the garage come flooding in.

IF YOU GOT A MILLION DOLLARS TOMORROW, WHAT WOULD YOU DO WITH IT?: Without
hesitation give my grandpa a hefty chunk. Even at 70 years old he still has dreams of what he
would like to do, cars he would like to have/build. He puts everyone before himself so I would
make sure he is set for the rest of his life. Then I would buy a house with some land and a
SHOP!

WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR FAVORITE BLOGS, WEBSITES OR SOCIAL MEDIA PAGES
THAT YOU FOLLOW?: Car Chix, Pistons and Peonies, NHRA & Chicks on Slicks

ADVICE TO OTHER WOMEN IN MOTORSPORTS OR WOMEN INTERESTED IN GETTING
INVOLVED IN MOTORSPORTS: Do not give up on your dreams. EVER. I am almost 29 years
old, I have waited MANY years for my dream of driving a funny car to come true. And let me tell
you, it was worth the wait!

ANYTHING ELSE YOU WOULD LIKE TO SHARE WITH THE CAR CHIX COMMUNITY: I am
so honored and humbled to have this opportunity to be apart of such an incredible group of
women. So thank you.
