Courtney Force takes the Funny Car competition by storm today! After locking in on the number 1 qualifier position, she takes out Ron Capps in the finals to claim the win in Funny Car during the season opener 2013 NHRA Winternationals at Pomona!
“My team has given me a great race car all weekend long, a consistent one. They made my job really easy,” stated Courtney Force during a track side interview after eliminating Ron Capps with a 4.025 @317.12 MPH ET in the final during the Funny Car shoot out.
This is the second career win for Courtney Force whom was just named ‘Rookie of the Year’ last year. Courtney Force is the daughter of legendary John Force; the 15-time Funny Car Champion.
