Erica Enders Out First Round of NHRA Winternationals

NHRA Pro Stock Champion, Erica Enders did not start off the 2016 season the way she wanted to.  After qualifying in the number 9 position, she took a first round lost during eliminations at the 2016 NHRA Winternationals in Pomona, California.
“We’ve got to keep a positive attitude and keep the mindset that this is only a beginning for us,” Erica Enders stated in an interview, “We just finished putting our motors together on Wednesday in Phoenix. We can only go up from here, and I know that with all my heart. It is a very tough pill to swallow. I hate losing, I hate losing first round. If there’s any consolation to it, at least it was to my teammate.”
Erica Enders experienced some bad tire shake almost instantly after the tree came down and she launched.  She let off the throttle to re-gain control of her new Elite Motorsports Mopar Dodge Dart Pro Stock Race Car.
Erica Enders will be back at it again with the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series in 2 weeks as they head to the CARQUEST Auto Parts NHRA Nationals at Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park in Phoenix, Arizona.
