A major announcement was made public by the International Entertainment Group (IEG). This announcement was said to first appear on the the Australian Supercross Championship Facebook Page that the first ever Australian Women’s Supercross Championship will start this year!
“The best women racers from around Australia will line up against an international female champion. Who will win? For all women who are interested in racing please direct your interest to yarrive@iegevents.com.au,” stated IEG on their Facebook post.
Australian Supercross Championship will start their season on September 14th and the Women’s Supercross Championship will be held at Phillip Island during rounds 4 and 5.
