ESPN & ABC publicly announced that Lindsay Czarniak will be hosting the Indianapolis 500 on May 26th.  Lindsay is a well-known and well respected anchor woman for the SportsCenter.  She will be replacing Brent Musburger, whom has been hosting the Indy500 race since 2005.
This is a history making move by ESPN and ABC.  Lindsay Czarniak will be the first woman in history to host the Indy500.  Lindsay has an impressive resume of covering racing events.  She previously was a pit reporter for TNT’s NASCAR Sprint Cup.
“It’s something I’d dreamed about getting the opportunity to do,” stated Lindsay in a recent interview with USA TODAY Sports.
