ENGLISHTOWN, N.J. (May 30) – Following a career-best semifinal finish at the recent NHRA
Kansas Nationals, Top Fuel rookie Leah Pruett and the Dote team are brimming with confidence
as they head to historic Old Bridge Township Raceway Park in Englishtown, N.J. for this
weekend’s 44th annual NHRA Toyota Summer Nationals. The Dote team also enjoyed a great
week off-the track as they have welcomed Bill Lake Modular Homes as an official major
associate sponsor for the Englishtown race as well as the Auto-Plus Nationals in Reading, Pa.,
later this season.

“From day one, it has been a goal of Dote Racing to build a team that is capable of contenting for
the NHRA Mello Yello Top Fuel championship and with our semifinal finish in Topeka and the
addition of Bill Lake Modular Homes, I think we’ve moved a step closer to that goal this week,”
said Pruett. “Hopefully, we can continue to move steadily towards that goal. The
Summernationals in Englishtown is now of NHRA’s oldest and most historic races. We’ve love
nothing more than to turn in another solid performance.”

In Topeka, Pruett qualified just 11th quickest in the tough Top Fuel field but drove the Doug
Kuch-tuned entry to a pair of big race day wins over reigning NHRA Mello Yello champion
Antron Brown and perennial contender Doug Kalitta. She is currently ranked 14th in the NHRA
Mello Yello Top Fuel standings even though she has not attended all eight events this season.
“Doug and the team have done an excellent job providing me with a quick and consistent race
car. I couldn’t ask for anything more” said Pruett. “We tried a slightly different tune-up in
Topeka which led to those round wins, and we plan to continue with this weekend.
The addition of Bill Lake Modular Homes, a custom modular home building company serving
the Northeastern United States, will provide an extra measure of motivation for the Dote team
this weekend.

“We are excited to support Dote Racing as they compete on the East Coast” said William Lake,
owner of Bill Lake Modular Homes. “The team is making remarkable progress, and we are
thrilled to get behind them as Leah and the team continues to excel.”
